Bosch Serie 6 Oven UAE: Models, Features and Repair

Serie 6 ovens sold in the UAE, CleanCoating versus EcoClean and pyrolytic cleaning, model-specific faults, and what repairs cost in Dubai.

Bosch Serie 6 Oven in Dubai: Models, Features and Repair

The Bosch Serie 6 oven sits in the middle of Bosch's built-in range, above Serie 4 and below Serie 8. In the UAE we found three Serie 6 codes on Bosch's own built-in oven list (HBJ559EB6M, HJG852YB0M and HJG852YS0M), two more on ACE (the HBJ559EB6M again and the HIJ557YS0M), and one 90 cm oven at Jashanmal (the VBD578FB0). On 2 November 2026 the retailer prices we found ran from AED 2,744 to AED 10,799.

Searchers who type "Serie 6 oven" often expect a pyrolytic self-cleaning oven. The UAE evidence does not support that for the 60 cm models. The two Serie 6 product pages we could read on Bosch UAE both list CleanCoating as the cleaning system, and the only pyrolytic Serie 6 we found is the 90 cm VBD578FB0. This page explains what that means, where the sellers disagree with each other, what tends to go wrong, and what repairs cost in Dubai.

We are an independent Bosch appliance repair company. We are not the manufacturer, and we are not an authorised Bosch agent. If your oven is inside Bosch's warranty, contact Bosch first. For the general oven fault guide, see our Bosch oven repair page. For the top range, see our Serie 8 oven guide, which covers the TFT screen, Air Fry, the probe and pyrolytic cleaning, so this page does not repeat them.

At a glance

  • Where Serie 6 sits. Bosch's comparison page lists Serie 6 with 3D Hotair, a white LED display and Home Connect, with pyrolytic and EcoClean Direct on selected models.
  • Cleaning in the UAE. CleanCoating on the two Bosch UAE product pages we read. EcoClean Direct on one ACE listing. Pyrolytic only on the 90 cm model we found.
  • Prices we found. AED 2,744 to AED 4,004 for the 60 cm Serie 6 listings on ACE, and AED 10,799 for the 90 cm oven at Jashanmal, all on 2 November 2026.
  • Warranty. One ACE listing states a three-year manufacturer warranty, and the Jashanmal listing states one year. The Bosch UAE pages we read did not state a warranty.
  • What we could not find. A Serie 6 oven with a microwave, a double Serie 6 oven, or a freestanding Serie 6 cooker on UAE pages.

Bosch Serie 6 oven models sold in the UAE

Bosch UAE's built-in oven list showed 12 of 21 models when we checked, with the rest behind a "Load more" button that we did not expand. Of the 12, three carry a Serie 6 label. We then read two of those product pages and checked UAE retailers. The table shows what each source says and nothing more.

Model Type What the listing says Price (AED) and source
HBJ559EB6M 60 x 60 cm built-in, black Bosch UAE: CleanCoating, Home Connect, red LED with touch control, 12 heating methods, 40 programmes. ACE: 66 L, 3D HotAir, EcoClean Direct, Alexa, 3-year warranty 4,004 (was 4,299), ACE
HJG852YB0M 60 x 60 cm built-in, black Bosch UAE: CleanCoating, white LED with touch control, 7 heating methods, 30 programmes, no Home Connect No price found
HJG852YS0M 60 x 60 cm built-in, stainless steel Named on the Bosch UAE list and in a Jashanmal listing as Serie 6, 60 cm. No detail page read No price found
HIJ557YS0M 60 cm built-in, 66 L ACE: 8 cooking modes, EcoClean Direct, SoftClose, residual heat indicator, child lock. The ACE page says it "adds steam functionality" 2,744 (was 3,049), ACE, out of stock but "available for home delivery"
VBD578FB0 90 cm built-in, 112 L Jashanmal: pyrolytic, white LCD with pop-out rotary controls, 4,200 W, A+, 50 to 280 °C, rotary spit, 63.7 kg, 1-year warranty 10,799 (was 11,999), Jashanmal, "sold out" but "add to bag" shown

Four warnings belong with that table.

The two Bosch UAE pages disagree with each other on features. The HBJ559EB6M page lists Home Connect, a red LED display and 40 automatic programmes. The HJG852YB0M page lists no Home Connect, a white LED display and 30 programmes. Both are labelled Serie 6. Bosch's comparison page describes Serie 6 with a white LED display, which matches the HJG852YB0M and not the HBJ559EB6M. We cannot tell from the pages whether the comparison page is simplified or the labels are loose. Our reading: treat "Serie 6" as a price tier and not a feature list, and look at the model code.

The cleaning system on the HBJ559EB6M is in dispute. Bosch UAE lists "CleanCoating". ACE's text for the same code says EcoClean Direct. We do not decide between them. If you own this oven, the sticker and the booklet settle it, and the section on cleaning below explains why it matters.

Two codes that look like Serie 6 may not be. ACE sells the HBG656RS1M (71 L, 3,600 W, AED 5,219, was 5,799) without naming a series. Bosch Qatar's support page labels that code "Series 8". ACE also sells the HBG6764S6M without naming a series, and Jashanmal's listing for it is quoted on our Serie 8 guide. We have left both out of the Serie 6 table. One more thing worth knowing: the ACE price for the HBG656RS1M (5,219, was 5,799) is identical to the Jashanmal price for the HBG6764S6M. That may be a coincidence or a data error at one of the sellers. We could not check.

Stock and price are snapshots. The HIJ557YS0M is marked out of stock and also available for delivery. The VBD578FB0 is marked sold out and also shows an add-to-bag button. Ask before you assume either way.

What we did not find

We found no Serie 6 oven on UAE pages in these forms: a built-in oven with a microwave, a double oven, a freestanding cooker, or a steam oven that Bosch itself labels as steam. Overseas retailers list some of these under the Serie 6 name. That does not prove they cannot be ordered here, and a Bosch UAE list that shows 12 of 21 models cannot rule them out either. We say more in the section on 90 cm, microwave, double and freestanding searches.

How to check that your oven is a Serie 6

Do not rely on a listing, a delivery note or a sticker on the box. Check the oven itself.

Find the full model code. Open the door fully and look at the edge of the door frame or the side of the cavity for a rating plate. The code you want is the whole string, for example HJG852YB0M, and not the first few letters. If the plate is hard to read, take a photo with your phone torch at an angle.

Compare it with the Bosch UAE list. Bosch UAE's built-in oven page lists models by series. A code that appears there under Series 6 is a Serie 6 on Bosch's own labelling. A code that does not appear is not proof of anything, because the list showed only 12 of 21 models when we checked.

Compare features with the booklet. If your oven has a pyrolytic setting in its menu or on its dial, it has a different cleaning system from the CleanCoating models we found. The booklet for your code states the cleaning system. Do not rely on the series name for this.

Do not decode the letters yourself. The Bosch UAE pages we read do not explain how the letters in an oven code map to features, and we do not rely on guesses. Where our own technicians recognise a code family, we tell you at the visit and confirm it against the part list.

If you bought it second-hand or inherited it with the flat, the plate is your only reliable record. Send us a photo of it when you book, and we confirm the code before we plan parts.

Cleaning: CleanCoating, EcoClean Direct and pyrolytic

This is the section that most separates a Serie 6 from the Serie 8 page, because the cleaning system decides what you can safely do with a spill, and what can go wrong.

System What the sources say Where we found it on a Serie 6
CleanCoating Bosch UAE lists "Integrated Cleaning system: CleanCoating" and does not explain it HBJ559EB6M and HJG852YB0M, on Bosch UAE
EcoClean Direct ACE describes it for the HBJ559EB6M and HIJ557YS0M. On the HBG632BS1M, ACE's text says "micro fine ceramic spheres on the interior oven walls" break down grease splatters. Bosch's regional page (bosch-home.com/ne) says EcoClean works while you bake or roast and adds no extra energy cost HIJ557YS0M and, per ACE, the HBJ559EB6M
Pyrolytic Heats the cavity far above cooking temperature to turn grease to ash. Bosch UK gives 485 °C, and Bosch's regional pages give about 480 °C VBD578FB0 at Jashanmal

What we do not know about CleanCoating. We did not find a Bosch page that explains CleanCoating in the pages we could read. The name suggests a coating on the interior, and that is our reading from the name and not a Bosch statement. Do not assume it behaves like EcoClean Direct or like a pyrolytic cycle.

What follows from that, as our suggestion. On an oven with a coated interior, do not use an oven spray, a steel scourer or a scraper until you have read the cleaning section of the booklet for your code. A harsh product on a coated surface can leave a patch that no longer cleans the way the rest does. We have not tested this on a Serie 6, and we flag it as a precaution, not as a Bosch rule.

For the glass, the cavity and the self-clean steps in full, see our guide to cleaning a Bosch oven.

If your oven is pyrolytic (the 90 cm VBD578FB0 is the only Serie 6 we found that is), follow Bosch UK's steps, which we quote on the Serie 8 page: take everything out, close the door, select the pyrolytic function, keep your hands off the glass, and wipe the residue once the oven has cooled. Bosch UK calls it a deep clean for every 6 to 12 months and not for regular use.

If the cleaning is not working as described. A coating that has worn or been damaged by the wrong product is a surface problem, not an electrical one, and we cannot fix it on site. We can tell you whether the fault you are chasing is something else, such as a failed element, which is a different problem that looks like poor cooking.

The cleaning type and the fault list

The cleaning type changes which faults are possible. A pyrolytic oven has a door lock that engages during a cycle, which a CleanCoating oven does not need. If you own a 60 cm Serie 6 from the list above, you can rule out a pyrolytic lock fault. If your door will not open after a cleaning cycle, tell us the full code, because that symptom points to a lock, which only pyrolytic ovens have.

What a Serie 6 gives you

The features below come from the two Bosch UAE product pages and the ACE listings. We separate what applies to the HBJ559EB6M, the HJG852YB0M and the HIJ557YS0M, because they differ.

Hot air and heating methods. Both Bosch UAE pages list conventional heat, hot air, bottom heat, a pizza setting and grill options. The HBJ559EB6M page lists 12 methods including defrost and a 50 to 275 °C range. The HJG852YB0M page lists seven, among them hot air gentle and hot air grilling, with a 30 to 275 °C range. ACE says the HBJ559EB6M cooks on up to three levels with 3D HotAir. The fan behind this is a moving part, so when the oven heats unevenly, the fan is one of the first things we check.

Telescopic rails. The HBJ559EB6M page lists a one-level pull-out. The HJG852YB0M page lists a two-level pull-out. The HIJ557YS0M listing names telescopic rails. If a rail binds, do not force it with a loaded tray, and tell us which level.

SoftClose door and detachable door glass. Both Bosch UAE pages list a soft-close door and detachable door glass. The HIJ557YS0M listing names SoftClose too. A soft-close door has a damper in the hinge. Our reading: that damper is the part most likely to change how the door feels when it wears.

Fast preheat. Both Bosch UAE pages list fast preheat. Neither says how long it takes, and we do not state a time.

Air Fry and grill tray. The HBJ559EB6M page lists "1 x air fry & grill tray" among its accessories, and the HJG852YB0M page lists the same tray plus a combination grid and universal pans. This is an accessory, not the dedicated Air Fry mode that the Serie 8 pages describe, so do not expect the same result. Neither page says how well it performs.

Home Connect. The HBJ559EB6M page lists Home Connect with "iService Remote, Remote Monitoring and Control". ACE adds that the oven works with Alexa. The HJG852YB0M page lists no Home Connect. If your oven has it, a pairing problem is a network or app problem first and an oven fault second. We cover that below.

Programmes. The HBJ559EB6M page lists 40 automatic programmes and the HJG852YB0M page lists 30. The pages do not list them.

What is missing from the Bosch UAE pages. Neither product page we read states the cavity volume, the power rating, the energy class or the warranty. ACE gives 66 L for the HBJ559EB6M and HIJ557YS0M. For anything you need to compare exactly, such as the energy class or the connected load, use the booklet or ask the seller in writing.

Dimensions and fitting. The HBJ559EB6M page gives the oven as 595 x 594 x 548 mm, with an installation depth of 550 mm, width of 560 to 568 mm and height of 575 to 597 mm. The HJG852YB0M page gives the same outer size, 595 x 594 x 548 mm. Measure your cabinet before you replace one oven with another, because the cut-out is what limits you. Weights are 33.6 kg for the HBJ559EB6M and 35.3 kg for the HJG852YB0M, and the HJG852YB0M page gives a packed size of 670 x 665 x 685 mm. Cords are 146 cm and 120 cm respectively, which matters if your socket sits some distance from the housing.

Serie 6 compared with Serie 4 and Serie 8

Our Serie 8 guide sets out Bosch's comparison page in full. Here is the part that concerns a Serie 6 buyer.

Range Heat Display Other features named
Serie 4 3D Hotair Red LED Pyrolytic and EcoClean Direct on selected models
Serie 6 3D Hotair White LED Home Connect, pyrolytic and EcoClean Direct on selected models
Serie 8 4D Hotair TFT with Bosch wheel Air Fry, Steam Function Plus, PerfectRoast, Home Connect and pyrolytic on selected models

Serie 6 against Serie 4. On Bosch's table, the difference is the display colour and Home Connect. The Bosch UAE list shows a Serie 4 oven, the HBJ538EB0M (black), next to the Serie 6 HBJ559EB6M. We did not read the HBJ538EB0M page, so we cannot compare features. Our reading: if the HBJ559EB6M page is accurate, its Home Connect and 40 programmes are the visible step up.

Serie 6 against Serie 8. The Serie 8 ovens in the UAE listings cost from AED 4,409 (HBG632BS1M) to AED 7,919 (HBG776NB1M), against the 60 cm Serie 6 listings at AED 2,744 and AED 4,004. The extra money buys a TFT screen, 4D Hotair and the cooking assistants. Whether you will use those depends on how you cook, and we cannot decide that for you.

Repair cost differences. A TFT module is a more expensive part than an LED touch panel. Our reading: a Serie 6 display fault should cost less to put right than a Serie 8 one, though a quote depends on the part. That is a reason to ask for a written quote, and not a promise.

The practical rule. Buy on the features you will use, and then check the cleaning system by model code. A Serie 6 with the wrong cleaning type for your habits is a bigger disappointment than a Serie 4 that suits you.

90 cm, microwave, double and freestanding Serie 6 searches

A few of the searches that lead here are for forms we could not confirm. Here is what we found for each.

Serie 6 90 cm. The only one we found is the VBD578FB0 at Jashanmal. The listing calls it Bosch Series 6, with a 112 L cavity, pyrolytic cleaning, 4,200 W, an A+ class, a 50 to 280 °C range, white LCD with pop-out rotary controls, a rotary spit and a weight of 63.7 kg. It lists 10 modes but names only six of them, so we do not repeat the figure as fact. The price was AED 10,799 (was 11,999), the listing showed sold out with an add-to-bag button, and the warranty was one year. A 90 cm oven needs a 90 cm housing. You cannot swap a 60 cm oven for it without carpentry.

Serie 6 microwave and built-in microwave. We found no Serie 6 oven with a microwave on UAE pages. The one oven-with-microwave we found is the CMG7361B1M, which is a Serie 8 and is covered on the Serie 8 page. A built-in microwave on its own is a different appliance that we did not research for this page.

Serie 6 double oven. We found none on UAE retailer pages.

Serie 6 freestanding oven. We found none on UAE retailer pages. The Bosch UAE built-in list includes two gas models in the Serie 4 range (HGA711RR0M and HGL10G050M), which are a different product. Gas appliances are outside our scope: we do not work on the gas supply. See our hob repair guide for how we handle gas hobs.

Serie 6 black, single oven, built-in. The HBJ559EB6M and HJG852YB0M are black on Bosch UAE, and the HJG852YS0M is stainless steel. All are single 60 x 60 cm built-in ovens.

If you are looking for one of the forms we did not find, ask the seller for the model code and check it against Bosch UAE before you pay a deposit.

Faults that depend on the model

Our oven repair guide covers the faults every oven can have: an element that has failed, a sensor, a door seal, a tripping breaker. This section covers only what differs on a Serie 6, and where we are drawing on reasoning and not on a Bosch source, we say so.

The LED touch panel

Both Bosch UAE pages list touch control, with a red LED display on the HBJ559EB6M and a white LED on the HJG852YB0M. If the panel stops responding, first wipe it dry with a soft cloth. A wet or greasy panel may not respond. Then check the child lock: a locked panel looks like a dead one. If you are unsure how your model engages and releases it, the booklet covers it. If the panel is clean, unlocked and still dead, switch the oven off at the breaker for about 10 seconds and restore it. Bosch's US page advises this for the E11 display error on its ovens, and it costs nothing to try. If the panel is still unresponsive, the fault is probably in the panel or the control module. Book an inspection.

Our suggestion: do not pry the fascia open yourself. The control module sits behind it, and the panel is the part you would be risking.

The door

A Serie 6 door has a soft-close hinge and detachable glass. Three symptoms are worth telling apart.

The door drops or slams. Our reading: the damper in a soft-close hinge has worn. This is a mechanical repair, and we confirm from the model code which hinge fits.

The door will not close fully. Check for a tray or rack out of position, and for food trapped in the seal line. If neither is the cause, the hinge or the seal may be the fault.

Heat leaking round the door. A torn or flattened seal lets heat out, and the oven loses temperature. We replace the seal where the part exists.

If you have removed the door glass to clean it and it will not seat, stop and message us on WhatsApp. The booklet for your code shows the order for removal, and we can refit it for you. Bosch UAE's pages we read do not describe removal, so we do not give steps.

The rails

A telescopic rail that sticks, scrapes or jumps off its track is usually a mechanical fault, not an electrical one. Bosch UAE lists a one-level pull-out on the HBJ559EB6M and a two-level one on the HJG852YB0M. Tell us how many levels your oven has, because the part differs. Do not force a rail with a heavy tray on it.

Heating and cooking faults

If the oven lights up but does not heat, or cooks unevenly, the general causes are in our oven guide: an element, a temperature sensor, the fan or a relay on the control board. For the HBJ559EB6M, ACE's listing says 3D HotAir across up to three levels, so a Serie 6 that cooks well on one level and badly on three has a different problem from one that does not heat at all. Tell us which level you use when you describe the symptom.

On the HIJ557YS0M, ACE's text says it "adds steam functionality". We could not confirm that on a Bosch page, and the ACE listing shows the heating methods as hot air, pizza setting, hot air grilling and bottom heat. If your oven has a water tank or a steam setting, tell us. A steam function adds a water path, which adds faults that a dry oven cannot have, such as a blocked outlet or a scaled element. We would want to see the booklet before we promised a repair.

Home Connect problems

If your oven has Home Connect, as the HBJ559EB6M page states, a pairing problem has several causes before the oven is at fault: the Wi-Fi password changed, the router moved, the phone app was reinstalled, or the oven lost its connection after a power cut. The Bosch UAE page names iService Remote among the features, so a connection fault can also show up as a lost remote service. Check the router first. If the oven works normally at the panel and only the app fails, the oven is probably not the problem. If the panel itself is dead, the connected module may be part of the fault.

We can check the oven side of the pairing. We cannot fix a router, your internet provider's equipment or the phone app.

Cleaning cycle faults on the pyrolytic model

If you own the 90 cm VBD578FB0 or another pyrolytic oven, the door lock is the part that matters. If the door stays locked once the oven is cold, do not force it, because forcing it risks the lock and the hinge. Tell us what the display shows.

What to try before you call

  1. Check the breaker and any isolating switch for the oven.
  2. Check the clock and timer settings.
  3. Check the child lock.
  4. Wipe the panel dry and cut power for about 10 seconds.
  5. Check that the shelf and the tray sit correctly, and that the door shuts with nothing in the seal line.
  6. Photograph the display and the rating plate.

Do not remove the back or side panels, and do not work on the mains cable or the connection. That is a job for a technician with the oven isolated.

How a Serie 6 repair works

The visit follows the same steps as for any built-in oven: we isolate it, pull it forward if the housing allows, test the part that matches the symptom, and quote before we replace anything. What differs on a Serie 6 is the model check. Before we plan parts, we confirm your full code against the part lists we use, because two ovens both called Serie 6 can have different panels, rails and cleaning systems, as the two Bosch UAE pages show. The invoice lists the part numbers fitted.

Two things we ask you to do before we arrive: clear the area in front of the oven, and make sure the building will let us in. A built-in oven in a tall housing may have to be pulled forward. If your housing is fitted so tightly that the oven cannot slide out, we tell you before we start whether we can complete the repair in place or need a second visit. For the full process, see the oven repair guide.

Looking after a Serie 6 oven

Some of this is general oven care, and some follows from the cleaning type.

  • Wipe spills while the oven is cool. On a coated interior, do not use an abrasive pad or oven spray before checking the booklet.
  • Clean the door glass with a soft cloth. If dirt is between the panes, do not try to open the door. Message us on WhatsApp.
  • Do not stand or lean on the open door. Our suggestion, to protect the hinge and damper.
  • Slide rails in and out smoothly, and do not load them beyond what the booklet allows.
  • After a power cut, check the clock and any Home Connect pairing.
  • Wipe the touch panel dry after cooking, and keep cleaning spray off it.

Bosch Serie 6 oven repair cost in Dubai

The AED 99 inspection includes the visit, the diagnosis and a written quote. If you approve the repair, the AED 99 comes off the price. If you decline, it is all you pay. The table shows typical all-in prices by fault for a Serie 6, excluding 5% VAT. These are our ranges and depend on the part and the model.

Fault Usual cause Typical fix Time on site Price (AED)
Not heating Element, sensor, relay Replace the failed part 45 to 120 min 180 – 520
Temperature sensor fault Sensor Replace the sensor 45 to 90 min 170 – 360
Fan fault Hot-air fan motor Replace the fan or motor 60 to 120 min 220 – 480
LED touch panel or control module Failed panel or electronics Repair or replace the module 60 to 150 min 280 – 650
Door hinge, damper or seal Worn damper, hinge or seal Replace the part 45 to 90 min 180 – 420
Telescopic rail Bent or seized rail Replace the rail set 30 to 75 min 120 – 300
Door lock (pyrolytic models) Lock motor or sensor Replace the lock 60 to 120 min 220 – 460
Breaker trips Element leak, wiring Isolate and replace the faulty part 60 to 150 min 200 – 560

Three things move a quote within its range. The part matters most, and a rail costs far less than a control module. Access matters, because a tightly fitted oven takes longer to pull forward. And stock: if the part is not on the van, the price is the same but you wait for a second visit.

A worked example: your Serie 6 stops heating and the technician finds a failed temperature sensor. The all-in price is AED 250, including the AED 99 inspection. VAT adds AED 12.50, so you pay AED 262.50. If you decline, you pay AED 99 plus AED 4.95 VAT, a total of AED 103.95.

Payment is by card, cash or bank transfer, and every visit gets a VAT invoice with the part numbers listed.

Repair or replace?

Compare the written quote with the price of a comparable new oven. Our rule of thumb, which is ours and not a Bosch figure: if the repair costs more than about half of a new equivalent, or the oven is past about fifteen years and has had two serious faults, replace it.

The reference prices are the ones we found on 2 November 2026: AED 2,744 for the HIJ557YS0M (out of stock but deliverable), AED 4,004 for the HBJ559EB6M, and AED 10,799 for the 90 cm VBD578FB0. Using those:

  • Three-year-old HBJ559EB6M, temperature sensor failed, quote AED 250. Against AED 4,004, that is about 6%. Repair it.
  • Six-year-old Serie 6 with a failed touch panel, quote AED 650. Against AED 4,004, about 16%. Repair is reasonable if the oven is otherwise sound. Against the AED 2,744 listing it is about 24%, still well under half.
  • Fourteen-year-old oven with a failed module and a worn hinge, combined quote AED 1,000. Against AED 4,004, that is 25%, but a second fault in one visit often means more may follow. It is a judgement call. Ask us what else shows wear.
  • 90 cm VBD578FB0, door lock failed, quote AED 460. Against AED 10,799, that is about 4%. A 90 cm oven needs a 90 cm housing, so replacing it with a 60 cm model is not a like-for-like swap. Repair is the sensible default.

If you do replace, check the cut-out first. The HBJ559EB6M page gives an installation width of 560 to 568 mm and a height of 575 to 597 mm. A new oven that needs a different housing adds a carpenter to the bill. For a maintenance schedule across every Bosch appliance, see the table on our service center page.

Warranty, and who to contact first

Warranty statements on the listings we found do not agree. ACE states "Free 3-Years Standard Manufacturer's Warranty by Bosch" for the HBJ559EB6M, and the Jashanmal listing for the VBD578FB0 states one year. The Bosch UAE product pages we read state no warranty period at all. We cannot tell you which applies to your oven. Your invoice or warranty card does.

If your oven is within warranty, call Bosch first. Repairs by anyone else may change how the warranty is treated, and we cannot read your terms for you. Our guide on authorised versus independent repair explains how to decide. If the warranty has ended, our 90-day warranty covers the repair we make.

What to tell us when you book

The more precise the booking, the more likely the first visit ends in a finished repair. Have these ready:

  • The full model code from the rating plate. It is usually on the door frame edge or the side of the cavity, visible with the door open.
  • The symptom in your own words. "The panel is lit but nothing heats" is more useful than "it's broken".
  • Any code on the display, and a photo of it.
  • What you have already tried. Say if you checked the child lock, the breaker or the power reset.
  • The cleaning type. CleanCoating, EcoClean or pyrolytic, if you know, and whether you used any cleaning product recently.
  • Home Connect. Whether the oven is paired and whether the app works.
  • Rails and levels. How many pull-out levels your oven has, if a rail is the problem.
  • Age and history. How old the oven is and whether it has been repaired.
  • Access. Building name, apartment, parking, and any approval your building needs.

A short video of the fault, such as a panel that flickers or a door that drops, helps. Send it by WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Bosch Serie 6 oven?

It is the middle range of Bosch's built-in ovens. Bosch's comparison page lists 3D Hotair, a white LED display and Home Connect, with pyrolytic and EcoClean Direct on selected models. On Bosch UAE, the Serie 6 pages we read list CleanCoating for the cleaning system.

Is a Bosch Serie 6 oven pyrolytic?

Not the 60 cm models we found in the UAE. The HBJ559EB6M and HJG852YB0M pages on Bosch UAE list CleanCoating. The only pyrolytic Serie 6 we found is the 90 cm VBD578FB0 at Jashanmal.

How much does a Bosch Serie 6 oven cost in the UAE?

On 2 November 2026 we found AED 2,744 for the HIJ557YS0M and AED 4,004 for the HBJ559EB6M on ACE, and AED 10,799 for the 90 cm VBD578FB0 at Jashanmal. The Bosch UAE pages we read show no prices. Confirm price, stock and warranty with the seller.

Does the Serie 6 have Home Connect?

Some do. The HBJ559EB6M page lists Home Connect with iService Remote and remote monitoring and control. The HJG852YB0M page lists none. Check the code.

Is there a Bosch Serie 6 oven with a microwave, a double oven or a freestanding model?

We found none on the UAE pages we checked. That does not prove none can be ordered here, so ask the seller for a model code and check it against Bosch UAE.

What is CleanCoating?

Bosch UAE lists it as the integrated cleaning system on the HBJ559EB6M and HJG852YB0M but does not explain it in the pages we read. Check your booklet before you use any oven spray or abrasive pad.

Can I fix a Serie 6 oven door that drops or slams?

Not safely. The soft-close damper is inside the hinge, and forcing the door can bend it. Book an inspection and give us the full model code so we bring the right hinge.

Why does my Serie 6 touch panel not respond?

Wipe the panel dry, check the child lock, then cut power at the breaker for about 10 seconds and restore it. If the panel is clean, unlocked and still dead, the panel or control module has probably failed. Book an inspection.

Will a repair affect my warranty?

That depends on your warranty terms, and we cannot read them for you. If your oven is still in Bosch's warranty, call Bosch first. If it has ended, our 90-day warranty covers the repair we make.
