Bosch Appliance Repair Services in Dubai

This is the map of everything we repair. We fix Bosch home appliances in Dubai, and only Bosch: washing machines, dryers, washer-dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers, ovens, hobs, cooker hoods, built-in microwaves and coffee machines. If you came here with a fault and no idea which page to read, the symptom table below sends you to the right one. If you came for prices, the pricing page has them fault by fault. If you want to know whether we can fix your particular appliance, the scope section says what we do and what we do not.

We are an independent company, not the manufacturer and not an authorised Bosch agent. Where this page says "Bosch says", it names the page and the country, because Bosch's pages differ from one country to the next. Where it says "ours", it is our own practice or reading, and Bosch has not said it. If your appliance is inside Bosch's warranty, contact Bosch first. Our guide to authorised and independent repair explains how to decide.

At a glance

  • Ten appliance types, each with its own guide, price table and fault list
  • Inspection and written quote: AED 99, deducted from the repair if you go ahead
  • Repair ranges: AED 120 to 900 depending on the appliance and the fault, excluding 5% VAT
  • Warranty: 90 days on parts and labour for the repaired fault
  • Hours: every day, 7 am to 10 pm, by WhatsApp or online booking
  • Home visits only. We come to you, and the appliance stays where it is

Bosch repair service in Dubai: the ten appliance types

Each row below links to a full guide. The guides share one structure: which models we repair, how to find your fault, what you can safely check, what the repair costs, and what Bosch's own pages say and leave out. The AED figures are ours, before 5% VAT, and include the AED 99 inspection credit.

Coffee machines Leaks, no coffee, grinder, descaling 150 – 560 Coffee machine repair

A few notes on how the ten differ, so you know what to expect from each guide.

Dryers matter for one fact about the UAE market. The Bosch dryers we found on sale here are heat pump models, which have a sealed circuit that a vented or condenser dryer does not. Our dryer guide says what that means for the faults and for the price.

Washing machines, dryers and washer-dryers are the biggest group and the one with most part guides: drain pump, door seal, door lock, carbon brushes, drum bearings and control module. Washer-dryers have their own page because they carry both the washing and the drying faults, and a changeover fault between the two is not on either of the other pages.

Dishwashers have seven part guides, from the inlet valve to the control module, and four error-code pages. The most common call is a machine that will not drain or will not heat.

Refrigerators and freezers differ from the rest in one way that matters for price: an ordinary part swap, such as a fan or a seal, is a short job, but a fault in the sealed cooling system is quoted only after inspection. The guide shows how to tell the two apart before you book.

Ovens and hobs both come in built-in forms, which adds labour, and both have gas and electric versions. We repair the appliance side of a gas oven or hob. We do not work on gas supply or pipework, which belong to a licensed gas fitter.

Cooker hoods and microwaves are the cheapest to repair, and the two where a few minutes of checks can end the problem. A grease filter that has not been washed is the most common cause of a weak hood. A plate that is out of its ring is a common cause of a microwave that seems broken.

Coffee machines come in three kinds: fully automatic machines that grind beans and have a brew unit and milk system, Tassimo capsule machines, and filter coffee makers. The guide covers when descaling is enough and when the problem is a pump or a brew unit.

What we repair, and what we do not

Bosch makes far more than ten kinds of product, and it helps to say which ones we do not touch.

Bosch UAE's repair page draws a line of its own. It says that for "all kinds of Bosch major domestic appliances, such as dishwashers, washing machines, ovens, etc." its engineers visit your home, and that for "consumer and kitchen products" it offers repair by its own experts in its workshops. The page does not say which products fall into the second group. Its appliance menu, though, lists kitchen machines, food processors, hand blenders, mixers, juicers, toasters, kettles, an air fryer and vacuum cleaners alongside the large appliances.

We follow the same split in our own way. We repair the large and built-in appliances in your home, plus coffee machines and built-in microwaves. We do not repair:

  • Kitchen machines, food processors, blenders, hand mixers, juicers and mincers
  • Toasters, kettles, contact grills and air fryers
  • Vacuum cleaners, corded or cordless
  • Bosch power tools and Bosch Professional products, which have their own service channels
  • Bosch car parts and Bosch DIY products
  • Appliances of other brands, including Siemens, Neff and Gaggenau, even where the parts look similar

If your appliance is on that list, the Bosch UAE repair page and its contact number, BSH 048030400, are the starting point. Our guide to Bosch customer care in the UAE lists the routes. We say this plainly because a page that promised to repair "all Bosch products" would be wasting your time on the first call.

If your appliance is a Bosch product we have not listed, or a very old model, send us the model code. We will tell you whether we can source parts before you pay for a visit.

Find your fault by symptom

Many people do not search for an appliance. They search for what is happening: water on the floor, no heat, a loud noise, a code. This table routes the common symptoms to the right guide. Start with the safety line in the right column, and read the guide before you book.

What is happening Appliances it can be Where to go Safety first
Water on the floor Washing machine, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge The leak section in the appliance guide Switch off at the isolator, keep clear of the water
Not heating Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, hob The "not heating" section, and the E09 and E19 pages A burning smell means stop and unplug
Not draining Washing machine, dishwasher The drain pump guides, and E18, E22, E24 Unplug before touching any filter
Noise Any appliance with a motor, pump or fan The noise section in the appliance guide Grinding or banging: stop and book
Will not start Any The "will not start" section Check the supply and the door first
Warm fridge Refrigerator, freezer The refrigerator guide Keep the door closed
A code on the display Washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, hob The error code library Do not run another cycle if the code is a leak
Smell of burning or gas Oven, hob, microwave, dryer, any See the notes below Leave first, then message us

Water on the floor

Switch the appliance off at its isolator or the breaker if you can reach it without standing in water. Do not touch a plug with wet hands. Stop the water supply at the tap if the appliance has one. Then work out which appliance is leaking: a washing machine leaks from the door seal, a hose or the pump housing, and a dishwasher from the door seal, a hose or the base. A fridge that leaks inside is usually a blocked defrost drain. Bosch's dishwasher E15 code is a leak-protection code, and our E15 guide covers it. Do not run another cycle on a machine that has flooded its base.

No heat

This is a different fault in each appliance. A dishwasher with E09 has a heater or sensor fault. A washing machine with E19 has a heating fault. An oven that stays cold has a failed element, sensor or relay. A hob zone that does not heat is a coil or a driver. Our guides separate the cheap causes from the expensive ones, and they separate the parts you can check from the ones you cannot. If the appliance smells of burning, switch it off at the supply and leave it off.

Not draining

A washing machine or dishwasher that will not drain has a blocked filter, a kinked hose or a failed pump, in that order of likelihood. A blocked filter is a few minutes' work with a towel and a bowl. Our washing machine filter guide and dishwasher filter guide take you through it, and the E18 and E24 pages cover the codes. If the filter is clear and the machine still will not drain, the pump is next, and that is a technician's job.

Noise

Noise has a different meaning in each appliance. A ticking from a microwave is the magnetron, and Bosch says it is normal. A drum rumble in a washing machine can be a worn bearing. A rattle in a hood is often a loose filter. The rule is the same across all of them: a noise that is new, loud, grinding or banging means stop and book. A noise that stops when you press a panel or reseat a filter is a loose part.

Will not start

Check the supply first: the plug, the breaker, and whether other appliances on the circuit work. Then check the door, which most appliances will not start with open, and any control lock. Bosch Singapore lists an active control lock among the causes on its microwave page, and the lock is worth checking on any appliance with a panel. A machine that is on, shows a display and will not start usually has a door switch or lock that is not registering. A dead display with a live supply is a control module question.

A warm fridge

Keep the door closed so the cold stays in. Then tell us what is warm and what is cold. A freezer that is cold and a fridge that is warm usually points to airflow, which is a fan, a damper or the defrost system. Both warm with a silent compressor points to power, the control board or the compressor. Our refrigerator guide explains the difference.

Smoke, burning and gas

These are the three situations where the advice is to leave and not to troubleshoot.

  • A burning smell from any appliance: switch it off at the supply if you can do so safely, unplug it, leave the door of a microwave closed, and message us on WhatsApp. Do not run it again to see if the smell has gone.
  • Visible smoke or flames: leave the room, and follow your building's emergency procedure. This is not a repair question.
  • A smell of gas near a gas hob or oven: leave the area, do not use switches or flames, and call your building's emergency contact or the gas supplier. We do not work on gas supply, and we will not visit until you have been told it is safe.

Guides by part

If you already know which part has failed, go straight to its guide. Each one covers how to confirm the part is the problem, what Bosch says, what the repair costs, and when replacement is not worth it.

If you are not sure which part, do not guess. Describe the symptom to us, and we find the part at the inspection. A wrong guess costs money, and a quote based on the failed part costs the same however you reached it.

For parts in general, how to find your model code and what Bosch UAE says about spare parts, see our parts page.

Guides by model and series

Bosch labels its appliances by series, and the series changes which features and parts you have. We have guides for the ones people search for most:

Appliance Model and series guides
Washing machines Serie 2, Serie 4, Serie 6, Serie 8, 8 kg, 9 kg, 10 kg, reading model codes
Washer-dryers Serie 4, Serie 6
Dishwashers Serie 4, Serie 6
Ovens Serie 6, Serie 8

The model code is the single most useful thing you can send us. Bosch Singapore says the E-Nr (the model number) and the FD (the production number) are on the rating plate, and that you need both when you book a repair. The plate sits in different places on different appliances, so check your booklet. If you cannot find it, a photo of the whole appliance, with the door open, is enough to start.

Error codes

Bosch's codes are specific to the appliance type, and the same code can mean different things on a washing machine and a dishwasher. We have written a page for each code we see most often: E09, E15, E22 and E24 for dishwashers, E17, E18, E19 and F21 for washing machines, and E25 across dishwashers, washing machines and dryers. The error code library lists all of them.

Ours: note the code and photograph the display before you reset anything. A code that returns after a reset tells us more than the first appearance does. Bosch's US page for ovens and microwaves, for example, says to note an unlisted code, cut power at the fuse box and call support. Our guides follow that approach.

Home visits, built-in or freestanding

We repair appliances where they are. That matters for three reasons.

Built-in appliances take longer. A built-in oven or an integrated dishwasher has to be slid out of a housing, and sometimes a plinth or panel has to come off. That is why the same fault costs more on a built-in unit. Tell us when you book.

Freestanding appliances need space. A washing machine, a dryer or a fridge has to be pulled forward. Clear the space, and tell us if the appliance is tight in its recess or on a tiled floor.

Not every fault can be repaired in the home. Bosch UAE sends consumer and kitchen products to its workshops. We do not run a workshop, so if an appliance in our ten types has a fault that cannot be fixed on site, we tell you at the inspection and charge the inspection only. For almost every fault in the ten types, the repair is done in your kitchen or utility room.

If your building requires a maintenance permit or a notice to the management office, arrange it before the visit. Some Dubai buildings limit the hours for technicians, and we cannot arrive without the permission.

What a repair visit looks like

You book by form or WhatsApp, and send the model code, the fault and a photo. We confirm a time window and the price range. A technician arrives, runs a few checks and finds the failed part. You get a written quote with the part number. If you approve it, the technician repairs and tests the appliance while you are there. If you decline, you pay AED 99 plus VAT, which is AED 103.95. The step-by-step version, with times, is on our service center page, and what each part of the price means is on the pricing page.

Have these ready:

  • The model code from the rating plate, or a photo of it
  • The code on the display, if there is one
  • What you tried, such as a reset or a filter you cleaned
  • Access to the appliance and any building permit
  • Someone at home who can approve the quote

The first call: what we ask and why

The first call or message decides whether the visit is one trip or two, so we ask the same short list every time. Knowing the reasons helps you answer quickly.

Which appliance, and the model code? The code tells us the series, the type (built-in or freestanding) and the likely parts. It is the difference between bringing the right pump and bringing a guess.

What does it do, exactly? "Not working" covers a hundred faults. "Fills, then does not drain, and shows E18" covers two. A short video of the noise or the display is better than a description.

What did you try? A reset, a cleaned filter, a different programme. We do not repeat what you have done, and it tells us what the fault is not.

Is it built in, and is there a permit? Both change the time and the arrival.

How old is it, and is it under warranty? If it is inside Bosch's warranty, we say so and you decide whether to go to Bosch first.

We answer with a time window and a price range, and the range is the one on our pricing page. The price is confirmed in writing after the inspection, and not before.

Mistakes that cost money

Most expensive repairs begin as cheap ones. These are the habits we see most, and where Bosch's pages cover them, we say so.

  • Using vinegar or citric acid to descale. Bosch UAE, Singapore, Egypt and US pages all say not to use them on a washing machine, and Bosch Singapore says never to use oven cleaner in a microwave. Use the product the manual names.
  • Putting metal or foil in a microwave. Bosch Singapore says metal dishes and aluminium foil can cause sparks.
  • Running another cycle after a leak code. Bosch's dishwasher E15 is a leak-protection code. A second cycle puts more water into a base that is already wet.
  • Resetting again and again. A code that returns is information. Note it and photograph it before the next reset.
  • Opening panels. Bosch Singapore advises against attempting repairs yourself, and the microwave and the hood both hold parts that stay dangerous when unplugged. Ours: keep to the checks the guides name.
  • Running a hood or dishwasher without its filters to see if it works better. The grease or debris goes into the fan or the pump.
  • Booking before reading the plate. A wrong model code means the wrong part on the van and a second visit.

When the fault is not in the appliance

Some calls end in a building problem and not an appliance fault, and we say so at the inspection, charging the inspection only. The usual ones:

  • Water supply. A dishwasher or washing machine that fills slowly or not at all can have low pressure or a closed supply tap. Check the tap first.
  • Drainage. A washing machine that will not drain may be connected to a blocked standpipe or building drain, and the machine is fine.
  • Power. A tripping breaker, a loose socket or a dead circuit can make an appliance look dead. Check whether other appliances on the circuit work.
  • Ducting. A cooker hood that pulls weakly can have a blocked or disconnected duct, and the motor is healthy. Our cooker hood guide covers it.
  • Gas supply. A gas hob that will not light may have a supply problem. We do not work on gas supply.

A building's maintenance team is the right call for the first four of those, and a licensed gas fitter for the last.

How the ten guides are built, and how to read them

Every appliance guide on this site follows the same order, so once you have read one you can scan the others. Knowing the layout saves time.

The opening and the at-a-glance box say what we repair on that appliance, the price range and what to do first. If you only have a minute, read these.

Models and types list the Bosch models we found on sale in the UAE, with the codes. This is where we say what Bosch's own pages show and what they leave out. Where we found a listing at a retailer, we date it, and we call it a snapshot because stock and prices move.

Find your fault takes each symptom in turn. Each one starts with what Bosch says, then gives the checks you can do safely, then gives our own reading, labelled as ours.

The price table gives the fault, the part, the time and the AED range. It is the same data that sits on the pricing page, so the two agree.

What we do on a visit, repair or replace, warranty and Bosch contacts close the guide. These sections are short because they say the same thing on every page, and the pricing page and the service center page are where they are covered in full.

Two habits of the guides are worth knowing. First, they name the Bosch page and its country for every Bosch statement, because Bosch's pages disagree by country, and a step from the UK may not apply in the UAE. Second, they say "Bosch gives no answer" where Bosch is silent, and they do not fill the gap from a third-party website. If a guide says something is "ours", it is our reading, and the booklet for your model decides.

If a guide and your booklet disagree, follow the booklet. It is written for your model code, and our guides are written for the range.

Book now, this week, or try a check first

Not every fault is urgent, and not every fault is worth a visit before a check. This triage is ours, and it is a guide, not a rule.

Book now, and stop using the appliance:

  • Water leaking from a washing machine or dishwasher, or a dishwasher showing a leak-protection code
  • A burning smell, smoke or sparks from any appliance
  • A microwave with a damaged door, hinge or seal
  • A hob or oven that trips the breaker when it is switched on
  • A fridge or freezer that is warm and shows no sign of cooling, since food is at stake

Book this week:

  • A dishwasher or washing machine that will not heat
  • A washing machine with a loud, grinding drum
  • A dryer that no longer dries, once you have cleaned the filters
  • An oven that heats unevenly or not at all
  • A hob zone that has stopped working
  • A coffee machine that leaks

Try a check first, then book if it does not help:

  • A washing machine or dishwasher that will not drain: clean the filter
  • A cooker hood that pulls weakly: wash the grease filter
  • A microwave that will not heat or turn: reseat the plate and ring, run the cup-of-water test
  • A coffee machine with weak or bitter coffee: descale and clean the brew unit
  • A code that has appeared once: reset it as Bosch describes, and book if it returns

If you are unsure which group your fault is in, send us a photo or a short video. We tell you whether to wait, and if the answer is a check you can do yourself, we say so, and you owe nothing.

Tenants, landlords and property managers

Much of Dubai rents. If you are a tenant, you can book us directly, and the appliance's owner can approve the quote. Many leases place the repair of fixtures and fittings on the landlord, and some place it on the tenant, and we cannot say which applies to you. Read your tenancy contract, and ask the landlord or property manager before you pay for a repair you may be able to claim back.

Tenants: send us the quote and the invoice for your records. The invoice shows the part, the fault and the date, and it is what a landlord asks for.

Landlords and agents: tell us before the visit who approves the quote and who receives the invoice. We can issue the invoice to the owner's name or the management company's, with its tax registration number if you give it to us. The same applies if you manage several units. Our business page sets out the options for portfolios.

Between the two: the quote is the point where tenants and landlords usually disagree, so we send it in writing, with the part number and the warranty, before any work begins. Forward it to whoever pays.

Bosch servicing and maintenance

"Bosch servicing" is the biggest search that lands on this page, and it means two things: a repair, and routine care that stops one. We have covered repair above. This section covers the second.

Bosch's own pages give some maintenance intervals and leave out others. The table below shows what we found, and keeps Bosch's answers apart from ours.

Appliance Task What Bosch says Ours
Washing machine Descale Bosch UAE says every 3 months on two pages and once a year on a third. Bosch UK and Singapore say every 3 to 6 months. Bosch New Zealand says every 6 months. Bosch says not to use vinegar or citric acid. Check your water hardness, and use the shorter interval if you see scale. Our guide covers how
Dishwasher Clean the filter Bosch US and Canada say every few months. Bosch Malaysia says after every wash. Bosch Singapore and India say "regularly" Monthly, or when you see grit or a smell
Coffee machine, fully automatic Descale Bosch UK says about once a month, and the display prompts you. The machine can lock if it is overdue Follow the display
Coffee machine Milk system Our cleaning guide, working from Bosch's pages, gives weekly or as needed Rinse after each use if you use milk daily
Cooker hood Grease filter Bosch UK and US give no interval, only the steps Monthly if you fry often
Cooker hood Carbon filter Bosch US says every 3 to 4 months, Bosch UK every 3 to 6 months, Bosch Egypt once or twice a year Follow your use
Microwave Interior Bosch Singapore says clean promptly after use, and never use oven cleaner Wipe weekly

The guides behind that table are our washing machine descaling guide, dishwasher filter guide, coffee machine descaling guide, coffee machine cleaning guide, washing machine filter guide, oven and microwave cleaning guide and cooker hood guide. Each one carries the Bosch pages and the countries they come from.

For ovens, refrigerators and hobs, we have no Bosch maintenance interval to quote. The cleaning and care sections of those guides give the steps Bosch's pages describe, and we label our own suggestions.

Is there a preventive service visit for homes? We do not sell a separate service plan for homes. If you want an appliance checked before it fails, book the AED 99 inspection. It is credited to a repair if one is needed, and it is the whole cost if nothing is wrong. Landlords and property managers with several units can arrange yearly preventive visits on our business page.

Repair, replace and your warranty

A repair is worth doing when the quote is under about half the price of a comparable new appliance and the appliance is under about ten years old. That rule is ours. Our pricing page shows how to work it out and what to ask any repairer, and each appliance guide has its own worked examples.

The warranty on our repairs is 90 days on parts and labour for the fault we repaired. It is separate from Bosch's warranty on the appliance. If your appliance is still inside Bosch's warranty, an independent repair may affect your cover, and we do not give legal advice on a specific warranty. Read your terms or ask Bosch before you book us.

Where we work and who comes

We repair Bosch appliances across Dubai. Arrival is typically 50 to 75 minutes for same-day jobs booked before 4 pm, and we work every day from 7 am to 10 pm. Our areas page lists the neighbourhoods we cover and a typical arrival time for each.

You will receive the technician's name before the visit. Our technicians are independent and work only on Bosch appliances. We do not claim they are Bosch employees or Bosch-trained. If you want to know what Bosch itself offers, its UAE repair page says its engineers are "employed and trained by Bosch" and visit homes for major appliances.

Frequently asked questions

Which Bosch appliances do you repair in Dubai?

Washing machines, dryers, washer-dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers, ovens, hobs, cooker hoods, built-in microwaves and coffee machines.

Do you repair kettles, blenders, vacuum cleaners or air fryers?

No. Bosch UAE sends consumer and kitchen products to its own workshops, and we do not repair them. Use Bosch's repair page or BSH 048030400.

Do you repair other brands, such as Siemens or Neff?

No. We repair Bosch appliances only.

How much does a Bosch repair cost in Dubai?

Our ranges run from about AED 120 to AED 900 before 5% VAT, depending on the appliance and the fault. The AED 99 inspection is credited to the repair, and the written quote is the price. See the pricing page.

Do you take the appliance to a workshop?

No. We repair it at your home. In rare cases a part has to be sent away, and we tell you before we do.

Is a Bosch servicing visit different from a repair?

We do not sell a separate service plan for homes. An AED 99 inspection checks the appliance, and it is credited to a repair if one is needed.

How do I know which guide to read?

Use the symptom table on this page. If your appliance shows a code, go to the error code library.

Can you repair a Bosch appliance that is still under warranty?

You can book us, but contact Bosch first. An independent repair may affect your cover.

What do you need from me when I book?

The model code from the rating plate, the fault, any code on the display, and access to the appliance.

Do you repair built-in and freestanding appliances?

Yes, both. Built-in appliances take longer, and the price reflects it.

How quickly can a technician come?

Typically 50 to 75 minutes for same-day jobs booked before 4 pm, depending on the area.

Do you work on gas?

We repair the appliance side of gas ovens and hobs. We do not work on gas supply or pipework.
