Bosch 10kg Washing Machine in the UAE: Models & Repair

The Bosch 10 kg washing machines sold in the UAE, why other 10 kg codes online are not, who needs the bigger drum, and what ownership and repairs cost in Dubai.

A technician in blue dungarees and a black cap kneels on a bathroom floor beside a front-loading washing machine, working inside the drum with an open blue toolbox of screwdrivers and pliers next to him.

Bosch 10 kg Washing Machines in the UAE: Models, Prices and Repair

A Bosch 10 kg washing machine is rarer in the UAE than the searches suggest. Bosch's UAE front-loader list shows two: the WGB2560XGC and the WGB25600GC. Both are Serie 8 machines that spin at 1600 rpm. We found no 10 kg Serie 4 or Serie 6 on a UAE listing, and no top loader. The 10 kg codes you will find elsewhere online belong to other countries.

This guide says which 10 kg machines are sold here, explains why other 10 kg codes appear in your search results, helps you decide whether the bigger drum is worth it, and covers fit, weight, installation and what a repair costs in Dubai. It is written by an independent Bosch repair company, not by Bosch and not by a shop. We do not sell washing machines.

At a glance

  • Bosch UAE lists two 10 kg machines: the WGB2560XGC (silver inox) and the WGB25600GC, both Serie 8, both 1600 rpm
  • The only UAE price we found: AED 5,199 for the WGB2560XGC at ACE on 2 November 2026, shown as out of stock
  • Other 10 kg codes we found, such as the WGA254ZRSA, WGA254ZREG and WGG245S1GB, are listed in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UK, not for the UAE
  • Bosch makes 10 kg top loaders for other markets. We found none for the UAE
  • Repairs in Dubai: typically AED 150 to 780 before 5% VAT, with a 90-day warranty on our repairs

Our Serie 8 guide covers the two UAE models in full, including i-DOS, Home Connect and the comparison with the Serie 6. This page does not repeat that. It answers the questions people have when they search for a 10 kg Bosch by size.

Is a 10 kg Bosch the right size for your household?

Bosch's buying guide, which we read on its Egypt site, puts the cut-offs in one line: 8 or 9 kg for homes of three to four people, 10 kg for five or more, and 8 to 10 kg if you wash bulky items. So the case for a 10 kg drum is a large household, or a lot of bedding, or both.

Three things the guide does not say, and that decide whether you are in that group.

The kilogram figure is a dry-cotton maximum. It is not a promise for every program. The manual gives a lower limit for delicates, wool and quick programs, and for the big bulky items the weight is not the only limit. Our 8 kg guide explains this, and a 10 kg drum follows the same rule.

What fills a drum is volume as much as weight. A duvet is light and bulky, and a full load of towels is heavy and compact. A 10 kg drum helps most with the bulky pile, because a larger drum has more room for water to move through it. We have no Bosch figure for how much volume a 10 kg drum has on the UAE models, and we do not guess one.

A bigger drum only helps if you fill it. A half-full large drum is still a larger and more expensive machine than you needed.

The scale method from the 8 kg guide works here too. Weigh your usual heavy load, the one that fills a basket, on a bathroom scale: step on holding the dry basket, step on without it, and subtract. If your heavy wash is regularly over 8 or 9 kg of dry laundry, a 10 kg drum makes sense. If it is not, you will pay for capacity you will rarely use.

Three situations that point towards 10 kg:

  • Five or more people in the home, which is the line Bosch's guide draws.
  • Bulky bedding washed often, such as duvets and large blankets, where one load of a bigger drum replaces two.
  • One big wash a week, not a small one every day. A weekly batch benefits from the extra room more than a daily load does.

Three situations that do not:

  • One or two people, where an 8 kg drum already has spare room.
  • A small laundry space. The footprint of the Serie 8 machines we looked at is the same for 9 and 10 kg, but the weight and the door swing matter, as the fit section below explains.
  • Small, frequent loads. A larger drum does not make a part load cheaper.

10 kg Bosch washing machines in the UAE: what we found

Bosch's UAE front-loader page lists the two 10 kg machines below. It gives capacity and spin speed, and for one of them the finish. It gives no prices.

Model Capacity Spin Finish on Bosch's list
WGB2560XGC 10 kg 1600 rpm Silver inox
WGB25600GC 10 kg 1600 rpm Not stated

On 2 November 2026, ACE listed the WGB2560XGC at AED 5,199 and showed it out of stock. That is the only UAE price we found for a 10 kg Bosch. We found no listing at all for the WGB25600GC, so we cannot give you a price, a weight or a stock position for it.

What we could not establish matters as much as what we did. We could not open Bosch UAE's own product page for either 10 kg code, so we have no manufacturer figure for their weight, noise, energy use or water use. Where a Serie 8 detail is the same across the range, the Serie 8 guide gives it from the 9 kg pages we could read, and says so. For the 10 kg machines, ask the seller for the specification sheet, and compare it with the E-Nr on the box.

Two words on price. An out-of-stock listing tells you a price, but not that you can buy at that price. A Serie 8 at AED 5,199 is also well above the 9 kg Serie 8 listings we saw, and far above the 9 kg Serie 4 and Serie 6. That is where the 9 kg guide is useful if you are weighing the drum against the budget: see our 9 kg comparison.

Why you will see other 10 kg codes online

Search for a Bosch 10 kg washing machine and you will find more codes than the two above. Bosch sells different models in different countries, and a code that is on sale in one market is often not sold in another. The ones we found are in the table. They are labelled by market, and none of them is a UAE listing.

Market Code What the source says
Saudi Arabia (a retailer) WGA254ZRSA 10 kg, 1400 rpm, 14 programs, SAR 2,299, listed out of stock, series not named
Egypt (a retailer) WGA254ZREG 10 kg, 1400 rpm, 15 programs, EGP 32,954, Series 4 per the page address
Egypt (Bosch's own site) WGA254AXEG Serie 6, 10 kg, 1400 rpm
United Kingdom (Bosch UK) WGG245S1GB Serie 6, 10 kg, 1400 rpm, 47 dB washing, 75 dB spinning, energy class C
India (Bosch India and retailers) WOI105B0IN, WJZ105D0IN and others 10 kg top loaders, one semi-automatic

The prices are in their own currencies and are shown only as context. We do not convert them, because a price from another market says little about what a machine costs in Dubai.

Four things follow from the table.

The same size sits in different ranges in different countries. The Saudi and Egyptian codes begin WGA, and the Egyptian retailer calls its machine a Series 4. Bosch Egypt's own page lists a 10 kg WGA code as a Serie 6. In the UAE, the 10 kg machines are Serie 8 with WGB codes. So "a 10 kg Serie 4" is a real thing in some countries, but not in the UAE as far as we found.

Do not read capacity from the code. In the codes above, the 10 kg models have "25" or "245" after the letters, while the 9 kg Serie 8 models have "244". It is tempting to treat that as a rule, but our model number guide shows that capacity digits are unreliable, and UK listings show Serie 6 10 kg codes with different digits, WGG245S1GB on Bosch UK and WGG254Z0GB at a UK retailer. Use the code as a search term and the specification as the evidence.

The suffix is a market marker. The GC at the end of the UAE codes, GB for the UK and EG for Egypt appear to mark the market a machine was made for. The same base number can differ between markets in noise, depth and weight. Our model number guide has a UK and UAE example of the same family with different figures.

Packaging dimensions can look like machine dimensions. The Egyptian retailer lists 870 x 650 x 680 mm. Bosch UK gives those exact figures as the packed dimensions of its Serie 6 machine, and gives 845 x 597 x 588 mm for the machine itself. So the retailer's figures are probably the packaging, and a reader who used them to plan a niche would measure a machine larger than the real one. When a listing's size looks too large for a machine of that kind, ask the seller whether it is the packed size.

If you are looking at one of these machines as an import or a second-hand unit, the questions in the buying checklist below apply with extra force. We check the model code before we quote a repair on any machine, because parts and part codes can differ between markets.

A note on top loaders

Many of the searches behind this page ask for a 10 kg top loader, a fully automatic top load, or a top-load price. Bosch does make 10 kg top loaders. Bosch India's range includes the WOI105B0IN and, in its semi-automatic line, the WJZ105D0IN. We found no Bosch top loader on a UAE list, and every Bosch machine on the UAE pages we read is a front loader.

If a seller offers you a Bosch top loader in the UAE, treat it as an imported or second-hand unit and ask three questions. What is the full model code? Does Bosch UAE support that code? And what happens about parts? A top loader built for another market may use different parts from any machine Bosch sells here, and we cannot promise a part for a code we have not checked.

A semi-automatic machine has a separate washing tub and spin tub, with the user moving clothes between them. It is not the same kind of appliance as a fully automatic front loader, and the 10 kg figure means different things in the two. Do not compare a semi-automatic 10 kg with a front-loader 10 kg as if they were equal.

10 kg against 9 kg

For the Serie 8, the step from 9 to 10 kg comes with a step in spin speed. The 9 kg Serie 8 codes on Bosch's UAE list spin at 1400 rpm, and the two 10 kg codes at 1600. So you cannot buy the extra kilogram and keep the spin, and you cannot buy the faster spin without the larger drum.

Point 9 kg Serie 8 (WGB244AXGC, WGB24400GC) 10 kg Serie 8 (WGB2560XGC)
Capacity 9 kg 10 kg
Max spin 1400 rpm 1600 rpm
Weight 76.4 kg and 75.0 kg on Bosch UAE Not found
Door-open depth 1,090 mm 1,090 mm per ACE, as the Serie 8 guide notes
ACE price on 2 November 2026 AED 4,199 for the WGB24400GC AED 5,199, out of stock

What the extra AED 1,000 buys is one more kilogram of capacity and 200 rpm. Whether that is worth it depends on whether you fill the drum and whether faster spin matters to you. Bosch's own buying guide says a machine that spins at 1400 or 1600 rpm leaves clothes drier, which cuts drying time and energy. That is a fair reason to look at 1600 if you tumble-dry or hang laundry in a humid flat. It is not a reason by itself to pay for it: 1400 rpm is already fast, and the guide gives no figure for the difference.

Two comparisons are outside this page. The 9 kg range across all three series, with Serie 4 and Serie 6 as well, is in our 9 kg guide. The smaller drums are in our 8 kg guide.

Spin speed: 1600 rpm and what it asks of the floor

A drum that spins at 1600 rpm holds a wet load against the wall of the drum at a high speed, and any imbalance shows up as vibration and noise. That is physics and not a Bosch claim. The result is that a 10 kg machine at 1600 rpm needs a level floor and a balanced load more than a smaller machine at lower speed.

Four practical points follow, and none of them needs a number we do not have.

  • Level the machine carefully. A machine that rocks on its feet will drum against the floor on spin, and it will do so more at 1600 rpm.
  • Mix large and small items. One wet duvet on its own spins unevenly. A mix of items spins more evenly. Your manual describes what the machine does with an uneven load.
  • Mind the floor. A suspended timber or thin screed floor transmits vibration differently from a concrete slab. We have no Bosch figure for how much vibration to expect, so if you are installing in an upper floor of a villa or in a flat with a neighbour below, ask the installer.
  • Choose a lower spin where your model allows it. The manual shows which programs let you, and a lower spin also lowers the noise.

Noise figures for the UAE 10 kg machines are the gap here. Bosch UAE's pages that we could read give 52 dB washing and 72 dB spinning for the 9 kg WGB244AXGC. For the 10 kg codes we found no figure, so we cannot say whether they are quieter or louder. Bosch UK's 10 kg Serie 6 gives 47 dB washing and 75 dB spinning, a gap of 28 dB. That is a different machine from a different market, and we mention it only to show that the spin figure, not the wash figure, is the one to ask about.

Fit and carry: weight, door swing and the route in

The Serie 8 machines Bosch UAE describes share a footprint of about 84.5 cm high, 59.8 cm wide and 59 cm deep. Our Serie 8 guide gives these and the rest of the fit checklist. The 10 kg-specific points are below.

Weight. We found no weight for the 10 kg codes on a UAE page. For reference, Bosch UAE gives 76.4 kg and 75.0 kg for two 9 kg Serie 8 machines. Bosch UK lists 73.7 kg for its 10 kg Serie 6, a different machine. Treat anything from 70 to 80 kg as the planning figure for a 10 kg Bosch, and ask the seller for the real number. Either way, this is a two-person carry, and a hard one on stairs.

Door-open depth. ACE gives 1,090 mm for the 10 kg WGB2560XGC, matching the 9 kg Serie 8. Bosch UK gives 1,049 mm for its 10 kg Serie 6. The difference is 41 mm, which is enough to matter in a tight niche. If you plan a laundry room, use the larger figure, measure from the wall to the front edge of the machine plus the door swing, and check that nothing else opens into the same space. A washing machine in a kitchen niche next to a cupboard door is a common place for a clash.

The route in. Measure the lift, the corridor, the turn into the laundry and the door frame. Bosch UK gives a packed size of 870 x 650 x 680 mm for its 10 kg Serie 6. That is a UK figure for a different machine, so ask the seller for the packed size of yours.

The hinge. Bosch UAE lists the door hinge on the left for the 9 kg Serie 8 machines. We found no hinge statement for the 10 kg codes, and we do not know whether the hinge can be changed. Check before buying if your room needs the door to open the other way.

The power cord. Bosch UAE gives 160 cm for the 9 kg Serie 8, so the socket must be within reach. Check the 10 kg machine's cord length from its specification.

Installing a 10 kg Bosch correctly

The steps are the same as for any Bosch front loader, and our 8 kg guide lists them in full: remove the transport bolts, level the feet, connect the inlet hose, fit the drain hose without kinks, and run an empty first wash while you watch it fill, wash, drain and spin. The points below weigh more on a machine that is heavier and spins faster.

  1. Remove every transport bolt before the first wash. A machine that spins with them in will shake violently and can damage itself.
  2. Level it to the point where it does not rock. Press down on each corner of the top. Bosch UAE gives up to 12 mm of foot adjustment for the 9 kg Serie 8, so use it.
  3. Do not put it on an uneven tile edge or a raised plinth without checking that all four feet are supported.
  4. Check the inlet connection against the specification. For the 9 kg Serie 8 the Bosch UAE page lists no hot-and-cold intake, so hand-tight to the cold supply. Do not assume the same for a 10 kg code without checking its sheet.
  5. Fit the drain hose without kinks, at the height the manual gives, and make sure the standpipe or siphon can take the flow.
  6. Run an empty first wash and look under the machine for drips during the fill and the drain.

If a delivery team installs the machine, ask what they will do. Hoses, connection, levelling and removal of an old machine are often separate charges.

Buying checklist: new, display model, second-hand or imported

Because a 10 kg Bosch is uncommon in the UAE, the chance of meeting an unusual one is higher than for the 8 kg and 9 kg ranges. Run through these points.

  • Get the full model code, including the suffix, and check it against Bosch UAE's list. A code that is not on the list may be an import.
  • Confirm the series. Retailers sometimes omit it, as the Saudi listing did. A WGB code is Serie 8 in the UAE, and the series tells you which features to expect.
  • Ask for the specification sheet. Weight, noise, energy use, water use, door-open depth and hinge side should be on it. If the seller cannot provide it, you are guessing.
  • Check the stock claim. An out-of-stock page that still takes orders, as the Saudi retailer's did, may mean a wait. Ask for a delivery date in writing.
  • Check the warranty and who stands behind it. For an import, ask whether Bosch UAE supports it. Our authorised vs independent repair guide explains why.
  • For second-hand, ask for the invoice, the age, the service history and a test run. Look for rust at the drum seal, water stains under the machine and a drum that turns freely by hand with no rumble.
  • For a display model, ask what it has been through, and whether the warranty starts from the sale or the display date.
  • Ask what delivery includes. A heavy machine up stairs is a delivery problem, and it can be a safety problem.

Loading habits that protect a big drum

A larger drum is more tempting to overfill, and the bearings and shock absorbers carry the weight on every spin. Leave room for water and detergent to move through the load, and keep to the maximum the manual gives for each program. Mix large and small items so that a single wet duvet does not spin alone. Use the Reload function that Bosch lists when you forget an item, within the manual's limits. On an i-DOS model, let the machine dose and keep the tanks filled and clean as the manual says. Wipe the door seal and leave the door ajar after the last wash.

Owning a 10 kg Bosch in Dubai: care and servicing

Care for a 10 kg Bosch is the same as for any Bosch front loader, with the emphasis on the heavy-duty parts. Clean the pump filter at the interval the manual gives, using Bosch's steps in our washing machine guide. Run the Drum Clean program when the reminder appears. Check the level every few months, because a machine that has walked out of level shakes on spin, and more so at 1600 rpm.

Know the signs that a repair is due:

  • A rumble, knock or squeal that grows with spin speed, which can point to bearings or shock absorbers
  • Slow draining, or water left in the drum after a cycle
  • A smell that survives a hot cleaning cycle
  • Drips at the door, drawer or under the machine
  • A code on the display, or a cycle that stops for no reason
  • Clothes coming out wetter than before

Each is cheaper to fix when it first appears. Our guides cover the codes that matter for a washing machine, including E17, E18 and F21.

What a 10 kg Bosch repair costs in Dubai

The faults on a 10 kg Bosch are the same as on the smaller Serie 8 machines, and the ranges below are our placeholder ranges for them. The AED 99 inspection is deducted from the repair if you go ahead. Prices exclude 5% VAT.

Fault Usual cause Typical fix Time on site Price (AED)
Not draining Blocked pump filter, failed drain pump Clear the filter, replace the pump 45 to 90 min 150 – 320
Not spinning Motor wiring, imbalance sensor, bearings Replace the failed part 60 to 120 min 220 – 520
Noisy drum Worn bearings, shock absorbers Replace bearings or dampers 2 to 4 hours 380 – 780
Door won't open Lock actuator, blocked drain Release the door, replace the actuator 45 to 90 min 160 – 340
Dosing fault (i-DOS models) Tank sensor, dosing pump, blocked line Clean or replace the dosing parts 60 to 120 min 280 – 620
Control or connectivity module fault Failed electronics Repair or replace the module 60 to 150 min 320 – 750

The full fault list, with leaks, heating and filling, is on our 9 kg guide and on the Serie 8 guide. We show the rows that matter most for a heavy, fast-spinning machine.

The part and the access decide where in the range a quote falls. A drain pump costs far less than a set of bearings or a control module, and a 75 kg machine takes more effort to pull out and refit.

An imported 10 kg code is a separate case. We check the model code before we quote, because a part for the UAE Serie 8 may not fit a machine built for another market. If the part is not available, we tell you before you pay for anything beyond the inspection.

Repair or replace a 10 kg Bosch?

Use a real new-machine price as the reference. On 2 November 2026 ACE listed the 10 kg WGB2560XGC at AED 5,199, out of stock. A workable rule is that a repair costing more than about half of a comparable new machine, or a machine past ten years old with two serious faults, is a case for replacing. Half of AED 5,199 is about AED 2,600. That rule is ours and not Bosch's.

The repair prices in these examples come from our placeholder ranges, so check your own written quote.

  • Three-year-old 10 kg Serie 8, drain pump failed, quote AED 300. That is about 6% of the new price. Repair it.
  • Six-year-old 10 kg, worn bearings, quote AED 780. That is about 15% of the new price, and bearings are routine work on a sound machine. Repair it if the drum, seal and module are in good condition.
  • Eight-year-old 10 kg, dosing and module faults, quote AED 1,100. That is about 21%, and the machine still has most of its life. Repair it.
  • Twelve-year-old 10 kg, bearings, a failing module and a leaking pump housing, combined quote AED 2,300. That is about 44%, but it is three faults on an old machine. Ask us whether other parts are wearing before you decide.

If the new price is out of stock, as it was at ACE, the comparison is less certain. A machine you cannot buy today has no price you can pay today, so ask the seller for a real quote and delivery date before you decide against a repair.

A new machine comes with a seller warranty, and the listings we saw for other Serie 8 codes show one year plus a longer motor warranty whose terms you should read. Our repairs carry 90 days on the repaired fault. We will tell you when a repair is not worth it, and if you decline, you owe only the inspection fee.

How to book, and the warranty on our repairs

You book online or by WhatsApp. We confirm a two-hour window, and the technician messages you on WhatsApp 30 minutes before arriving. On site, they diagnose the fault, show you the failed part where possible, and give you a written quote with the part number. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on the parts fitted and the labour for the repaired fault. We list the part number on a VAT invoice. If your machine is still inside its warranty, contact the seller or Bosch first. Our service center page explains how to decide.

We repair Bosch washing machines across Dubai, with typical arrival times of 50 to 75 minutes after the technician sets off. Areas include Dubai Marina, JLT, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, JVC, Dubai Hills, Mirdif and Al Barsha.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a 10 kg Bosch washing machine in the UAE?

Yes, two, on Bosch's UAE list: the WGB2560XGC (silver inox) and the WGB25600GC. Both are Serie 8 front loaders with a 1600 rpm spin. We found a UAE price only for the WGB2560XGC, AED 5,199 at ACE on 2 November 2026, shown as out of stock.

Does Bosch sell a 10 kg top loader in the UAE?

We found none. Bosch makes 10 kg top loaders for India, including the WOI105B0IN, but every Bosch machine on the UAE pages we read is a front loader. Treat a top-loader listing here as an import and ask for the model code.

What is the price of a Bosch 10 kg washing machine?

The only UAE price we found is AED 5,199 for the WGB2560XGC at ACE on 2 November 2026, out of stock at the time. Prices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and elsewhere are in their own currencies and do not tell you what a machine costs in Dubai.

Is there a 10 kg Serie 4 or Serie 6 Bosch in the UAE?

We did not find one on a UAE list. Retailers in Saudi Arabia and Egypt list 10 kg WGA codes, and Bosch Egypt lists a 10 kg Serie 6, but those are for other markets.

Is a 10 kg drum worth it?

Bosch's buying guide suggests 10 kg for homes of five or more and 8 to 10 kg for bulky items. If your heaviest weekly load is regularly over 8 or 9 kg of dry laundry, it is. If not, a smaller drum does the job and costs less.

How much does a 10 kg Bosch weigh?

We found no weight for the UAE 10 kg codes. Bosch UAE gives 75.0 and 76.4 kg for two 9 kg Serie 8 machines, and Bosch UK gives 73.7 kg for its 10 kg Serie 6. Plan for a two-person carry and ask the seller for the real figure.

Can you repair an imported Bosch 10 kg washing machine?

We check the model code before we quote, because parts can differ between markets. If the part is available we tell you the price and lead time first. If it is not, you pay only the inspection fee.

How much does a 10 kg Bosch repair cost in Dubai?

Our typical range is AED 150 to 780 before 5% VAT, depending on the fault. The AED 99 inspection is deducted if you go ahead. Compare the quote with the price of a comparable new machine before you decide.

Will a repair affect my Bosch warranty?

That depends on your warranty terms, and we cannot read them for you. If your machine is still in Bosch's warranty period, call Bosch first. If the warranty has ended, there is nothing to affect, and our 90-day warranty covers the repair we make.
